The excerpt above was a verite scene that I shot as a one camera team.

Takeaway: Basketball was my first love, from 7th grade through senior year I literally played for hours every single day. Getting the opportunity to jump on this project with a basketball icon was really a dream come true for my teenage self.

I was picked up for a day as a local hire, and ended up on the Chicago days for the rest of the project. Often times I was trusted to work as a single camera on verite scenes when the full team was not able to fly in.
